Default Do I have to buy White's Tree Frogs as babies?

I'm getting a White's Tree Frog and I am wondering if I have to buy the frog as a child (not tadpole). I was thinking that it might be stressed if it is bought as an adult, and I'm just wondering if it is necessary to buy them when they are small.

As long as the frog is captive-bred, i think that it would be safe to buy it at any age. I would suggest however that you get a frog that is at least 1 1/2 inches in length
