Is Coconut sick?

So on Sunday night i transferred Coconut to her permanent home, a 20 gallon tank. She seemed to be fine at first, but i have four crickets in the at the moment and they've been in there since i transferred her. She seem to have only eaten one. Is it because the tank is the big for her? Although i don't see how since its wild and the outside is much bigger than the tank. She still seems to be pretty fat, so is it possibly cause she's not hungry?. The crickets i gave her are the "large" ones from Petsmart. She's had around 8 within the last 2 weeks.

How big is she and what temperature is she at? It does sound a little sparse if she's full grown... You might try hand or tong feeding her; toads take well to it. It also removes the hiding cricket variable from the equation.

Crickets should be sized same as distance between toad's eyes. Also, if uneaten overnight, should be removed from enclosure since they stress out and can bite the toad when hungry. It is best not to feed a frog for a couple days after a transfer due to involved stress.

The day after i posted this she ate 1 of the crickets. The other 2 died. I put in smaller ones the same day and the next day she ate all but 1. Im going away for 10 days and my parents wont feed her, so i have to dump in enough to last her. The agreed on topping up the water dish when it gets low, but they hate the feeling of crickets so that's my only option.

They can shake crickets into a bowl and the dump into the enclosure. Never even have to touch them.....

Putting 10days worth of food in there for her is a BAD BAD BAD idea.

Thanks for the idea, i just put 10 into a old Peanut Butter jar that's been washed. She doesn't seem to eat much even when the crickets or other bugs i put in there are the right size. There's been times when 2-3 crickets have been right in front of her and she just stays in her burrow and ignores them. Hopefully it was just a "phase" and she'll eat ok when im gone.

Recommend you find someone to care for toad while gone. Water dish needs to be cleaned and replenished daily with dechlorinated tap; not toped off. Also, crickets should be gut loaded with carrots, lettuce, and cherios for 24-48 hours before feeding toad. I know how to take care of toads, been doing it for about 5 years for fun in the summer, just the past 2 years i've wanted to keep them as permanent pets. I feed it wild crickets. Also when i had a Green Tree Frog 6 years ago i think it was, i just feed the crickets cat food and it was fine(that's what the lady at Petsmart said when i first got it.) Next year i am going to switch to switch to store bought crickets and insects and gutload them.

Well turns out Coconut doesn't like wild crickets. She loves the Petsmart ones. My Grandma thinks it's cause the Petsmart ones are softer cause they have no shell like wild ones. Is this true? I find it odd that she wont eat wild crickets.
