    Default Hi everyone!

I didn't even think to post here first, but I will now. I live in TX, Southeast texas. I'm 19 and I really like lizards, frogs/toads, turtles, snakes and all kinds of other critters, including rats.
When I was a kid, I would catch yard lizards and stick them on my stomach and walk around with them in the house. My grandmother hated that. Yard lizards do like stomachs though. They just sit and chill. Anyways, I have always liked creatures. I have yet to buy any though. I like to look at all the pictures on here, and read about frogs and toads. I want to buy some cool frogs but I don't have enough room in my house, It is very tiny, like a tiny apartment lol. No space . Recently, I decided to care for some american toads I found, they were tiny tadpoles when I got them. I am keeping them in my garage. They seem to do okay in there. I am going to do my best to raise the little toads, and I will release most of them when they get big, so they don't get eaten so easy. I plan on letting them go at a pond. I have to find one though. I have 13-15, the last time I counted them was when they were tadpoles, lol. I will have to catch them and count them better. They are fast little things. I was thinking of going to lowe's and buying some pond supplies and build a small pond. That way I could keep about 4 and see if they would live in my backyard, I have big back yard, probably why my house is so tiny. I have tons of bugs, and lots of flowers, bushes and trees back there. Toads used to be everywhere, when I was little. I used to sit on the back steps and throw worms at them, I miss it. They slowly starting disappearing and now there aren't any left. I did see one back in may. It was a big, hiding in between some flower pots. I haven't seen it again, sadly. We used to have a lot of these white trucks, that would drive around spreading mosquito poison. I figure they ate poisoned mosquitos and died from it. Just a theory. Anyways, I hope to meet everyone. Im sure you have noticed, I can type a lot, but I will stop myself, lol.
