    Default looking for feeding ideas

So I recently purchased 3 fbt's from petsmart and they are living in a tall 20 gallon tank with about 4 inches of water. They currently have a turtle floating rock and a rock waterfall which they spend their time on when out of the water. I feed my toads everyday somewhere in the range of 3-5 crickets a toad. My concern is related to feeding. I usually pour the crickets onto the floating rock which is fine for 2 of the 3 toads but one gets scared and hides for a while. By the time he comes back around my 2 toads have either eaten all the crickets or the crickets jump off the rock and drown. I need an idea of how to feed my toads better than just pouring 10 crickets on a rock in the middle of the water and hoping for the best. My current best idea is to make the tank 2 stories and build an easy to climb ramp off the floating rock up to the second story where the crickets would be less likely to find their way down the ramp and into the water. This idea seems hard to build and so any other idea other than making the tank 1/2 water and 1/2 land is much appreciated

In Short crickets are suicidal maniacs and nothing we do will prevent them from finding the smallest pool of water and killing themselves in it. The method I use with my Red Eye tree frogs (I don't keep FBT sorry) is to use a pyrex glass bowl and put the crickets in there. The crickets can't get any traction on the glass so they can't climb or jump out. It may take a few days, but for my reds after a day or 2 they figured out how to get into the bowl and eat... maybe this would work with your FBT or someone who keeps FBT will respond and let us know how wrong I am and give you a better solution.

I think i read elsewhere that people put plants or leaves in the water that the crickets could get to and climb out and wait to be eaten there.... Sorry I can't be of more help.

I have a larger rock platform in my 5.5 gallon tank that takes up the left 1/3 of the tank, i also have a plant in the water that the crickets can easily get out from, but I usually feed him 2 crickets a day, i usually drop both in front of him and he'll get at least one right away, if he struggles to get the other I generally use feeding tongs to hand feed him or put it in front of him. I also alternate using waxworms which I dangle in front to make it look more alive so he notices it.
