Lija, you have very beautiful kings. Been thinking of getting thayeri's but it's hard to find nice looking specimens like yours.

    Thanks guys
Daniel, it is hard to find thayeri in general, i think these are ones of the most underrated snakes in general, they are small, pretty and calm, funny when they pretend to be a rattle snake. My big king is the best display animal, he mostly sits nicely on branches or just out. I was thinking to do a nice display tank for brb in my living room, but while she is little we put king there, apparently he enjoys showing off so his tank is not moving anywhere.

There are a few very good breeders in US if you are looking for.

I've been talking to some king breeders for a while now. Not sure when I will make the jump. By any chance do you know anybody in the San Diego area?

I've been debating on more old world rats or the more unique kings. It's to hard of a decision so I got more drugs(frogs) to help calm my nerves lol.

Mike Bodner breeds ones of the best thayeri i've ever seen thayeri kingsnakes - Captive Bred Thayeri Kingsnakes not exactly sure where he is from, but he has 100% thayeri only.
the other guy who produces insane snakes Highland Herps - Home my babies are from him. He is great to communicate too.

The other one i've heard a lot of good things is from Alaska, dont have his info on hand.

Just think about kings in comparison to others: they dont eat much, they don't grow big and dont need big cages.......
