New Babies added to our frog family.

These I recently purchased from Mike of Mike's Phat Frogs. You may notice that two are especially interesting.

Neat babies . He's definitely creating some different morphs.

The last two are mutants. Almost all of the last one is translucent like fogged glass. The first is just a peppermint and the second is another mutant we just call it lipstick. Its lips are translucent.

Yep! I've seen almost all of them. He has one with Heterochromia iridium.

I lost a few from a bacterial infection that attacked some of them. I had to put one down today sadly. I bought him from someone that fed on moss and he was impacted. I cared for him for 2 months with no sign of him being able to pass the blockage. He began to lose muscle mass and was suffering. Nothing worked so i had to make the hard decision.

I'll do a count. I believe its in the twenties.

His death was due to the dangers of feeding on moss. Should be avoided regardless of feeding method to be safe. His impaction was so solid that it caused him to prolapse every time he tried to go. He suffered unnecessarily.

Hi Colleen/Jerrod ! Love the Aurita's color. awesome greens. The mutant pepermint is OK; but will pass on that alien looking one . Do you know what kind of bacteria attacked your frogs?

The peppermint:








This one we refer to as the "lipstick." Not to be confused with the lipstick morph that Frog Ranch produces. But the clear skin around her lips look like lipstick!





She also has some clear patches on her belly and clear feet which you can see slightly in the last picture.

And then there is the mutant. I know he looks bizarre, but he is quite a cutie!

One of the really cool things about the mutant is that his/her belly is clear so you can actually see the intintestines.

And this one is from last night. Clearly someone needs to poop!



All three of them have settled into their new homes and are eating great!
