Mold in RETF vivarium help!

Hi everybody, today after retiring the crickets from de thr cricket bowl, i noticed on the botom of a real wood trunk piece, small and white spots, no gray or green justo white, so i suppose it is mold, the trunk piece y bought it at a local petstore and it was prebaked and ready for use in aquariums, i suppose it should be normal, the question is if this mold could be unhealthy for the frog so what i can do it is to retire part of the substrate and the trunk and let the trunk in a bucket for a week or two or again bake the trunk and reinstall it to the vivarium, how ever my very most concern is about the little frog, so what fo you think could be the best thing to do?

How long has the tank been set up? New vivs will go through a cycle, much like an aquarium will. During that, white mold may appear on wood. It's completely normal and will go away on it's own after a few weeks.

The tank has only 2 weeks to be set up, should i have yo quarentine the tank and take the frog to another place or the frog is not in a real danger

Now the whhite mold is caming up with green mold here are some pic from it

Still safe. Keep in mind, you have a living tank now. Things that occur in nature will occur in your tank. Molds, algae, fungi (mushrooms). These are all safe, except black or full grey mold. White fungus will come and go occasionally. So will algaes and mosses and such.

What kind of substrate do you have? If you have an organic substrate, which it looks like you do, add some spring tails and isopods and they will help combat that mold. Also the isos may provide your red eyes an additional food source.

Yes it is an organic substrate, it is forest floor bedding substrate
