Yea it is expensive, especially not to have any features other than ramping the lights up.

I found out about the Blue Fish Controller today and I am definitely interested in one.

Just wondering if this expensive equip ie like the Blue Fish Controller is really worth the $$
I have simple 13 watt 'light your reptile' LED. The plants do beautifully.
But then, again I have nothing to compare it to.

It has taken a very long time to have 4 spread-out over 3 - '6 foot spans. ( 12 bulbs)
( 3 tanks/ 3 tanks and 2 tanks ) But they do work really, really well.
I have them in cheap HD screw bases ( domes and clips removed )
It makes them very portable and easy to re-postilion.
