    Default Sizing, for cohabitation

When moving two white tree frogs together, if one is smaller than the other, there is a good chance the bigger one will want to make a snack outta the little one. right?

if this is true, when is the littler frog outta snack size?

ex. you have one frog 3'' snout to vent, then the smaller one who is just at the 2'' line.

i feel like this is still snacking sized, hoping someone would share their thoughts.

    hope everyone is well

    peace, love, frogs.

    Hello elura,
    My thoughts:
I really don't think you have to worry about 2" and 3" -adult- tank mates .
( if that is is size difference? )
If you bowl feed...perhaps use 2 bowls for a while to make dinner easy for the smaller one.
Just keep an eye on them.....as should be with the addition of any new tank mate of the same species
...to be sure he is not being bullied in any way.
As well......observe closely to be sure your smaller one is not stressed by the size difference.

Having said all of this ( you used 2" and 3" as an example? ) I DO think you should consider age and size differences.
Which, will also come with differences in behavior.

Very young frogs need to remain in a grow-out situations to gain their 'froggy' confidence.

As a rule of thumb you want smaller frog to be at least 2/3s the size on the larger one. Also, consider the frog's mouth size and it's feeding behavior. As Lynn stated; you should not have a problem with those two .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
