*in advance I'm not sure if the image is attached*
I'm vacationing in Florida and found a bunch of Tadpoles and a froglet! I'm thinking either a tree frog or a little grass frog? Eyes are gold and black, he's got toe pads, and his skin is green/brown and shiny
I would say definitely a tree frog if it has toe pads. Better pics might help a little though.
Thinking a little grass frog..?![]()
I'm thinking cuban tree frog. Not sure if they're invasive to West Virginia though.

Hello and welcome to FF Jane! Froglet in pics look like a Cuban Tree frog, Osteopilus septentrionalis, as Daniel stated. They are an invasive species that will do much damage to ecosystem if released. You can keep as pets and set-up an enclosure similar to ones described for tree frogs. Female can grow to 6 in.; so will eventually need a large enclosure for them. 75-85F and 60-70% humidity will work for them as parameters.
Ryan - The frog was collected during vacation in Florida; not a Virginia native.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Sorry about that Jane, i didn't even see that the frog was Floridian in the postThanks for the post Carlos.

Here are the tadpoles most of them have pinkish bellies they're so cute! Do you think they are CTF?
Very hard to tell in the tadpole stage and to mention that they both look so much alike as froglets.

A good way to tell a Cuban tree frog apart from US native frogs are the eyes. Cubans will have reddish/goldish eyes as froglets.
Not good at identifying tads.
Thank you all so much!<3
