I've had a white's tree frog for a couple months now, she was very very young when we first got her and she had been growing and adapting very well. I got home last night and she was floating in her water as if she had been struggling for a bit then gave up. I quickly took her out and held her until she got back to semi-normal then proceeded to feed her. She seemed fine the rest of the night and this morning (I switched her water dish to a very, very shallow one) and it appeared as though she was getting back to normal. This afternoon I went to check on her and it looked as if she was having a seizure, on her back on the floor of the cage, legs outstretched and twitching. It seemed as though she was struggling to breathe but after a few minutes she got back to normal size, so I put her in a mixture of 1 part pedialyte to 10 parts treated water (as I have seen online), she calmed down after that and got her energy back. She has been lethargic all day and sleeping most of the day which I think is relatively normal for a nocturnal frog. She just sat in her water again and shed but I'm just wondering what could possibly be the cause? If anybody has any insight or any info that could help please let me know!!
