how do i feed him without messing up s da/night cycle
imean do i feed him in the dark lol.
jk
You can feed them in early evening, before putting lights out .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
ok thx just wasent sure
when feeding my pacman should I take him out and if so where do I put him wile feeding like in substrate or tub with shallow water
I feed my frogs in their enclosure . Some members feed them outside in a tub; but if not started when young it could be very stressful to some frogs .

Yup. I just drop a nightcrawler in front of Keropi and he takes it in like a champ inside his enclosure, sometimes he misses and gets a face full of ecoearth but he has yet to become impacted. When he poops, he'll just leave it in one hole and find somewhere else to dig into.
Like Mentat mentioned though, some feed theirs in separate containers (minimize the risk of impaction via substrate) or just to make sure they eat everything they've been given; e.g. some members have more than just one pet and can't watch over each one to ensure they've eaten) and it can be very stressful from handling and change in environment to the frog if not done at a young age. It's the same concept as training them to tong-feed.
Mine gets fed mostly at six am ... He seems to still be awake and it's pitch black out. Is that okay? He's weird about eating sometimes.
What I do is I usually feed my pacman frog Chubbs in the late evening and he seems much more likely to eat if I feed him in the late evening all I do is remove his fake plants and that way I can see where the crickets are and make sure he eats them.
They eat at night ( cranwelli), and they usually go hunting after lights are off unless very hungry doesnt matter when as long as he is eating.
While it is ok to feed in separate tub, there is absolutely no need of doing so and stressing out a frog even if he is eating this way. Ingesting substrate is not a problem if it is exo earth.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
There is sprite hes like 2- 2 1/2 in. A juvenile I think. is he at an good age to train with tongs and feeding out the tank?
Pretty! Since it is an albino - what are you using for lights?
Why do you want to feed in a separate tank? And yes go ahead with tongs.

I use the ceramic heating bulb for the het and I've been using small led strip just for the daytime. no real reason just wondered if I could
I wouldnt use led for albino, any ambient room light would do. Albinos are very very sensitive to light, especially the one with any amount of uvb.

I have fed FROG after the light goes out. I wait about 30-40 minutes before I drop a plain or dusted cricket in front of him. I sure would like to have traveled to South America to see Horned Frogs in their natural habitat. Cheers.
