Hello just started an account on here after reading these forums for a month or so. Became the proud owner of 4 pixie frogs over the course of the last week. Spent the better part of a month trying to find some and ended up with 2 dwarfs and 2 giants. Incidentally all 4 were supposed to be giants and I could probably bore your eyes to tears with the long story of how I got them all. Anyway, I must add that all you GABF owners that post on here have been very helpful to me with the proper care. I'll post some pics here soon and you guys can tell me what you all think of these little guys and maybe give me some expert tips.

Hi welcome aboard!![]()
welcome! go hard with the picture taking. you wont regret having their growth well documented, cheers
Thanks for the welcome! My photography skills and my crappy phone camera have a lot to be desired, but here's a few pics of the 4some.
The first two are what I believe to be dwarf pixies and their colors were rather bland as they had just been on a Fedex truck all night but they look pretty dark now. The second two are giants I hope. It's just sick how fast these guys are growing. I've had them a week and the two giants were about the size of a quarter when they first arrived and now I bet they are the size of a silver dollar.
Welcome to the Forum! We love long "boring" stories and pictures! No mater the quality![]()

Well, it's been about a month since I posted. Just thought I'd put up some new pictures of my amphibikids. Maybe you all can see some gender differences. My guess is the two gabf are both males and the dwarfs are, well, I have no idea really. The two gabf are both about the size of a large orange or approx 3.5 inches stv. Anyway, thanks for looking.
This is the larger of my dwarf pixies. Around 3 inches in length.
This is my smaller dwarf. It's quite a bit smaller than the other one. Maybe 2 inches.
This is gabf #1. Was hard to get other pictures as anytime I moved he/she moved with me, opened their mouth, growled and carried on, and wanted to kill me I think.
This is gabf #2. This guy/gal was even worse than the first one. Wouldn't sit still, wanted to bite me, growled and grunted. Apparently, they are all quite attached to their burrows in their tanks and took offense to me picking them up to take pictures.
Any insight into their appearance and well being is appreciated. Thanks.
Tim
