    Default Maine Frog Fan

I'm new to the forum, but not new to frogs (and reptiles and amphibians). I've always been an enthusiast, but once I started doing frog monitoring through our local Audubon, I got REALLY hooked. I spend lots of time hiking, camping, and photographing wildlife in the woods of Maine, and frogs make a fascinating subject.

I collected and hatched most of the native frog and toad species this spring in our little backyard pond, which has been a blast to watch.

At any rate, just thought I'd say hello, and I'm looking forward to exploring the Frog Forum!

    Cheers!

Hello. Where in Maine are you located? I'm guessing Kennebunkport by your user name. I'm up by Augusta.

I used to live and work in Kennebunkport, so I have many ties, but we currently live in Cumberland (north of Portland, south of Freeport).
