What plants to get

Hi Peeps

i have a 60x45x90 exo with 2 white tree frogs in atm all plants are fake within the next week or so i will be changing the lighting on it so i can have real plants. can anyone help me with what plants to put in there looking for a couple of ferns and some climbers

Man! You Brits are killing me!! Lol you guys keep asking about plants and I have no clue what you have available to you there. A lot more than we have, I know that lol

I'm going to give you genus names, you'll have to find specific species from there, but at least it's a start.

Ferns: adiantum (maidenhair), nephrolopsis, asplenium, pyrrosia , quercifolix (sp?) and a few more I can't currently think of.

Climbers: ficus sp. This can be pumila (creeping fig), pumila var. quercifolia (oak leaf fig), lance leaf, panama, snowflake
There are climbing and trailing begonias that will work. A bunch of ferns climb well. Rhaphidophora species also climb and will form a shingle type pattern. The cissus genus are also climbers. Pothos and philodendrons will climb or trail. Any of the aroid family will do well in that tank.

I really could go on and on. There are literally thousands of species available out there for a vivarium.

LoL Neil! Bill has you covered. Because whites are a more heavyset frog, you can use branches like grapewood, cork bark or artificial vines. If you can, see if you can provide a branch as thick as the frog's body, if not no worries. With my experience in plants they grow much better under LED lights (strip lights) Im not sure if this is proven or not though. Looking forward to your Vivarium

Because whites are a more heavyset frog, you can use branches like grapewood, cork bark or artificial vines.

Grapewood is not a good choice. It will develop a nasty Grey mold when exposed to humid conditions that is very very bad for the frogs. Stick with the harder woods. Malaysian Driftwood, Mopani, Ghost wood etc.

Open a photobucket account. You can upload to photobucket, then copy the "img" link and paste it into a post. That way the pictures don't take up the limited space the forum provides
