Hello! I am actually quite new to the hobby myself and I started out with a pair of Azureus. I love them. Someone recommended Tincs and Leucs to me as great beginner frogs and I will say that they are all quite stunning. I guess for the experts, they think that those two types are hardy enough for newbies to care for. I just happen to have a thing for blue and our frogs suit me very well. My little guys are very bold. I have only had them in their quarantine set up for about 36 hours, if that, and they are already out in the open and feeding very well. I am very anxious to move them into their viv, but I won't do that to them. They will be in their temp home for at least 40 days, as much as I don't care for that, it's definitely what's best for them. I may go a little longer just because. As far as your viv is concerned, good stuff! You can plant it very well with all of that space. As long as you research very well and prepare ahead for the frog type that you want to care for, I think you will be alright, and of course, stay plugged into this forum and others and keep asking questions.
