So I've had my dubia roach colony for a couple months now and I'd say everything is going good. I just have a few questions:

I keep mine in a big storage container. When I clean it I dump everything that's on the bottom into a dish and then I basically pick out all the roaches that didn't climb on the egg crates. It's fine for the big ones but the babies are a different story. How does everyone else do it?

I'm starting to make my own roach chow but I'm not sure what to make the staple ingredient.....I have unmedicated chicken feed, whole oatmeal or cheerios... Or possibly I'm missing something? I feed fresh veggies and some fruits every other day and supplements weekly.

Any tips are appreciated!
