Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has used the great stuff expanding foam to make a burrow for a spider? If so any tips would be appreciated
I've never used it for a tunnel but I had it for a back ground in my A. avic enclosure before she passed. I don't see why it wouldn't work but I think you'd be better off using a piece of cork bark half buried in the substrate

What spider are you discussing? As far as tarantulas go, there are only a couple that are obligate burrowers and the rest do fine with a cork slab like Matthew mentioned .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
Great stuff foam is great for making burrows, backgrounds and almost anything else for tarantula enclosures.
Here's a good thread with some detail. He also details his other creations in other threads as well as his youtube account.
The spider is a giant wolf spider and its burrow was in concrete going under our house. So I wanted to replicate its burrow. Thanks guys!
Very nice, love wolfies. I wish the ones in NY grew bigger than they do. Would love to see pics when its done

Thanks guys This girl is the biggest I have ever seen her body alone is probably 1 1/4 inches long and her legspan is about 2 1/2 inches. I'll try to take pictures when it is done
