Hi Everyone!
My name is Christie! And I'm a first time Frog owner! My Mom and I saved a tadpole about a week or two ago from birds the birds were eating them! Sadly only one lived so we put him in a container and i decided i was gonna take it in. I named it Ezra I am not sure what the sex is i hear it's hard to tell at this stage. But Ezra is now at the baby frog age! Ezra has morphed!! Now since this is my first time I have no clue what to feed the lil fella!!It won't really touch anything i give it. I am guessing it is some type of tree frog since it likes to chill out in the little tree that we put in it's tank and it likes to chill on the sides of the tank...but i'm not an expert on frogs as much so i could be wrong.

Welcome the frog forum! Brine shrimp would be a little hard to feed. I would recommend feeding fruitflies(flightless) or pinhead crickets. Make sure that the food is no bigger than the space between the eyes. Looks to be a young grey tree frog. Al clearer pic would help. Good luck
The Frog chooses its owner. Treat your life-long friend with respect and care and it will never disappoint!

Hello and welcome to FF! Best thing to do for this baby is to set-up in a quarantine like enclosure, preferably, one with a vertical disposition. Use damp (dechlorinated tap water) unprinted paper towels for substrate and add a small water dish no deeper that frogs chin (a small plastic container top will do) and a silk type plant. Cover 3 sides with aquarium background and you are set to go. Change water daily and paper towels every couple days.
When frog has grown and is stronger (3-4 weeks) you can move to a regular substrate like shredded coco or coco mat according to your preference. Depending on species you will need to get a larger ExoTerra style enclosure. A Green will do fine in a 12x12x18; however a Grey will need much larger space.
Feed FF and pinheads as Eli recommended and dust them with supplements per this: http://www.frogforum.net/food-feeder...schedules.html. Crickets should be sized same as distance between the frog's eyes and gut loaded with carrots, lettuce, and cherios cereal for 24-48 hours prior to feeding frog. Hope this helps and good luck!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
