    I do mealworms once or twice a month with my frogs as a treat, never more than that as they are high in fat and chitin. I never do waxworms, not only do they stink to high heaven when they die, they are equivalent to offering your frog a donut. Full of fat with no nutrition. The best things to try to add variety would be earthworms and dubia roaches IMO. Make sure you're dusting with vitamins and gutloading your crickets also.
