I am not sure about the marks, looks to be an injury, like he was trying to push his head through something. Someone else will have to pop in with treatment ideas, I do not have experience there.

How big is his tank? It could just be the angle of the photos, but it looks too small for a whites tree frog. There are also no branches in there for him to perch on. Here is a care sheet to help you - Frog Forum - White's Tree Frog Care - Litoria caerulea
2.0.3 Hyla versicolor "Eastern Gray Tree Frogs"
2.2.0 Agalychnis callidryas "Red Eyed Tree Frogs"

0.0.3 Dendrobates auratus "Turquoise and Bronze"
    0.0.1 Anaxyrus fowleri "Fowler's Toad"

My mom told me he was trying the push on the top of the cage and there was mesh from the screen hanging out so im nervous that might have hurt my frog. The tank is large its the angle of the picture, but no branches. I dont know the size id say 20 to 30 gallon Name: 1404919240673.jpg

Looking at the shape of the injury, the sores/cuts are triangular in shape.. is what he was pushing on triangular? I am no expert in treating tree frogs, but using Neosporin w/o pain reliever sounds like the way to go. You will want to address the enclosure though, if your Whites is injuring himself in an attempt to escape, there is definitely a problem. Your frog really does need foliage and branches to climb on. Also what is the temperature/humidity in the enclosure?

If you want to get the actual volume of the enclosure, measure the Length X Width X Height / 231 that will tell you how many US Gallons it holds.

It was wire sticking out of the mesh from the top of the enclosure, I ran my fingers around the edges and there were a couple stray pieces, I removed them and covered the areas where others could come loose. I also removed the rocks I had because they tend to hid in corners and there were sharp edges on the rocks. Ill try neosporin.. the temp is at 80 I believe, I dont have a humidity reader.. my tank is about 25 gallons, thanks for the equation !

What are the tank dimensions? What are your temps and humidity at? You need to get branches and leaves of some sort in there, make it like a tree.

Hopefully someone can pop in soon with some advice about the injury. Poor guy, it's hard to leave them in the care of someone else.

EDIT - I did not mean to copy all of Michael's questions, we posted at the same time. Have care using neosporin, as the injuries are really close to both the eyes and the nostrils.

I know I feel so bad it happened while I wasnt there... im nit sure about the humidity either.... :/ I have a mist/fog machine that I put on them occassionally...

Bill, glad tp hear its not a disease or something! I will put ome of that on her, she also has a spot on her eyelid, I am nervous to put neosporin there... her behavior is normal, just kind of skiddish when I picked her up, ive been gone for a month...
