This is going to be my first living vivarium. Its a 12x12x18 Zoomed that's going to house a Lined Day Gecko. I'm also making a great stuff background with jungle mix covering it. I've read quite a bit on different plants to use but i'm not quite sure which vining plants i should use specifically for different things.

1. I want a good amount of ground cover but i'm debating on using sheet moss or some creeping jenny or pilea depressa. I'm just unsure of how these different plants will grow, as i would want them as ground cover instead of growing up to the light.

2. I want to have some growth up the background. Of course moss would look the most appealing, I don't want to overload myself trying to make a first viv. I was thinking of using creeping fig to grow up the back. Would you suggest this? Or should I try something with smaller leaves?

3. I am going to have a pot that is kind of hanging over or angled out that is within the background. I would like to have hanging vines coming from this to allow for climbing and cover. I saw a crested gecko vivarium in which creeping jenny was used and it just grew down, but since it was a crestie viv with no lighting, I'm curious if something like that would work in my case with spectrum lighting.

I know this is a very demanding post but any feedback or ideas would be greatly appreciated! I've always wanted to make a living vivarium so I want it to look nice, im just worried about overloading my enclosure with vines. I just love the look of trailing plants
