    Default Mushrooms?

Are these Mushrooms? Got them growing on a dying brom leaf. Also got some obvious mushrooms growing on some leaf litter.

    Default Mushrooms?

Wow, awesome pic, first and foremost. Yes, they definitely look like shrooms. I would have thought something else, then I reread the post and you said dying brom leaf, so yes, it fits. I'd snip the leaf and put it on the floor and see if they grow much bigger.

Cool, thanks. Putting them on the ground sounds like a pretty good idea. What is the life span on these things? Heard they were pretty short.

I was talking about the leaf litter in the second pic but after looking at it again it looks like there are mushrooms growing on that brom leaf as well.

It is short. But you are only seeing the flowering part of the fungus. It comes, it goes, but the actual fungus is living inside the dead, decaying matter. It sprouts the flower (mushroom) to spread it's spores and propagate. Mushrooms are a good indicator that your Eco system is spot on. But to see them growing on a living plant is a bit unusual, I will admit that.

Haha, I noticed them on the brom leaf but not in the leaf litter until you said that.

Is it possible that this is a mold? Got a couple people told me it looks like mold. Never seen mold that looks like this.

Not have I. How about we give it a day or two and see how it grows. Mold won't disappear over night, but shrooms might.

Sounds good. I'll update you guys in a day or two. I did come home today and did find a bit more. I've had shrooms grow pretty fast in my yard but not to sure if mold grows that fast.

I'm curious to see how that turns out also. I've never seen mold like that.
