Hmm I don't have any of a "trap door" style, but here are the various ways I have setup access for the equipment in the false bottom
Made channel down the back wall big enough for the pump to fit through in case i needed to replace it.
Left side - Left a gap I could fit my hand through to get to the aquatic heater
Designed the back wall to allow 2 channels into the False bottom
I am doing a trap door in my 40B build. I will post it up here as soon as I have it done.
