today i was granted an excellent chance to learn something new.
i received a mistake.
i had ordered an adult whites, as in full grown and whatnot.
I was given a baby. not a new baby mind you, but smaller than I have ever seen and or dealt with, we are talking maybe 1.5 inches from snout to vent.
My full grown baby is now 2.5 and very hefty, i love them both dearly, but i have no experience with young ones. I know the general humidity and temp stuff. You guys haven't failed me yet!
I also need a name, so all the help and tips to be typed I will receive with open arms
The care will not be much different than your big guy other than smaller food. Make sure you quarantine the little guy for at least 30 days and do a fecal test before you put him in with your bigger frog. Quarantine can be very basic, unprinted paper towel substrate, a food dish (if you bowl feed, which I would recommend because you can see exactly how much your new baby is eating,) and a water dish. I do have a branch in mine also to give them a place to perch. Change the paper towel and the water daily.

thank you so much for your help i've done just that, and he has a clean bill of health, he is putting on weight and growing nicely, hes started croaking more. I took the time to do some hand feeding, as that is how i started with Horatio. I've loved every moment of this process, and I am learning a lot. Thanks again Frog forum
