Thanks, Bill. Their new home is mostly awesome because I had your help! They are eating machines lately, so I'm pretty happy about that.

Oy, Paul. You weren't kidding about the protests. I heard them up and about all night for 2 nights, yet not a single cricket or roach was eaten. Fortuna still sleeps on the wall in the new tank, like in the other one. Tarrazu is sleeping on the leaf of a peace lily over the water for the second day in a row.

I think Tarrazu and Fortuna took advantage of the new tank size and the quiet household to do some serious growing this week while I was on vacation. Tarrazu is now over 2 inches, he was about 1 3/4 inches when I got him 6 weeks ago. They were both plenty plump when I got home.

Yes, they are doing really well. It helps to start with healthy frogs!

EDIT - It also makes for much cooler pics to have them out of quarantine and in their viv! The favorite plants appear to be the orchid and the caladium.

Awesome! I am glad they are healing great and love the new home! Ours occasionally will protest for no stinking reason. Looks like last night all 5 decided to poop in the food bowl instead of eating....

Love the new tank layout too!

I was worried that they weren't going to eat last night because of the chaos of all of us coming home after a week of silence. They ate 5 crickets though, so that is good.

They are healing up really nicely, didn't even need to treat them. I think Fortuna's will scar, but Tarrazu's is not even really noticeable anymore.

I think, by next spring, I will end up with a bigger viv and at least one more red eye, I really love them and would like a luetino morph.

That's great to hear. The scars will fade over time. Callie's big blue scar is finally turning greenish blue.

I will have to take a look at Michael Novy's when I'm ready for more. I think fall will probably be too soon and winter is out due to temps in WI. So spring looks to be more the time I'd get another. Hopefully his page will be up and running well by then!

Some new pics...these guys are both getting pretty big now.

Tarrazu - Over 2 inches and definitely fattening up now! Calls randomly during the night, waking me up. His nose rub is just the lightest brown dot, it healed very well on him.

Fortuna has reached 2 inches now also. I'm thinking it might be a male, any thoughts on that judging by the picture? The last few nights, I've heard more calling than I usually hear from Tarrazu alone, and last night when I peeked in at them, Fortuna appeared to have a saggy throat.

I bumped them up to medium sized crickets, they were eating about about 20 small crickets a night.

Are they in the basement too?? You will want them to be when they start calling! I wake up EVERY time. Of course, they're in my bedroom right now. I was hoping to get used to it and sleep through it, I don't ever wake up when Atlas calls. The red eyes are even louder than him though. Tarrazu even calls when I have music playing in my room.

Yeah they are in the Frogment (see what I did there) but I am down there several times in the night to check temps and make sure everything is good. I have got a small LED flashlight that doesn't seem to bother the frogs to much that I shine in to check the temps of the tanks and to spy on the reds

Would you be able to hear them without going down there? Tarrazu will be calling up a storm, but if I peek in on him, it instantly stops and he won't make a peep for at least an hour. Not even if I play a recording of other red eyes calling.

For comparison - Tarrazu at week 1 and week 8. Grew over 1/4" and is plumping up a bit. I think he's happy here calls every night!
