    That's awesome, Heather.

I am going to be moving them out of quarantine and into their tank tonight, 3 days early, but I think we're good. The qt tank has needed to be misted 3x's a day to keep the humidity up. I will only have a pet sitter in once a day when I go on vacation, so I'd like to get them moved and observe them for a bit before we leave. The humidity is maintained much better in there than in the qt tank obviously, it only needs to be misted once a day. That should make it easy. I have to move a few things around to make a spot for the feeding bowl...I wasn't thinking about that when I planted the tank.

Any tips for making this transition the easiest?

wow has it already been nearly 30 days!!! crazy!

I always try to move the frogs early in the day so they are asleep when the move happens. If you are lucky they will be sleeping on pothos leaves and you can just cut the leaf and lay it in the enclosure. They are non the wiser until they wake up

If they are asleep on the side of the qt tank or somewhere else I just lightly nudge them on the but and they will open their eyes. They will typically walk onto my hand and I can transfer them into the new tank. I let them walk off my hand in the new tank so they don't freak out and jump all crazy.

Moving them in the morning gives them the whole day to relax and calm down before diner time hits. Don't be surprised if they don't eat the first couple nights after the move. That is how they protest and there isn't a thing we can do about it lol.

Okay, I will do it in the morning before work then. Tarrazu sleeps on a leaf that hangs from the screen top, so that will be easy to move. I hate that faux plant, but hopefully he'll find a place he enjoys sleeping more when he's moved. Fortuna sleeps on the wall, so I will have to wake that one up to move. Tomorrow is 4 weeks since I got them, in the middle of a flood, it went crazy fast. With the crazy heat/humidity fluctuations here, I think they're going to be happier in a more stable environment. An empty qt tank makes that a little more difficult to control.

Ahh the big move. I took the first three pics last night after feeding them.

Tarrazu has become quite the hunter. Still needs to put on some weight but he appears to be healthier and more active. He spends his night hunting and calling (keeping me awake!)

Fortuna is getting plump! (S)he has also grown a bit in the last month, more than I expected.

The new tank, all ready for them. This is with the new LED corn lights that I got. I do not really like them but I'm going to be using them until I have a little extra $$ to get the light Bill suggested. All the money I've wasted on hoods and bulbs the last few months, I could have easily bought one for each tank if I had listened in the first place.

Tarrazu after the move. He never even opened his eyes for the entire moving process (not that it was much for him!) He always sleeps on this stupid faux plant that I hate. I wasn't planning on moving it over, but hopefully he'll find a new spot to sleep. If not, the ugly plant may be in there a while.

Fortuna after the move. (S)he was on the glass so I had to nudge her and wake her up to move her. I don't think she was too stressed out by it, her eyes were open for a whole 30 seconds after she moved over.

And this picture made me decide that I'm going to be building a new tank, probably after Christmas (wonder if my fam will buy me giftcards to pet stores and plant stores?) It's just not as big as I want it to be. I thought they would be smaller because I was told they were about 2 months out of the water, and that would give me until next spring to get my next build going. Tarrazu is just under 2 inches and Fortuna is not far behind him. So it's going to need to happen sooner rather than later.
