Default Injured Whites Tree Frog - HELP NEEDED :(

Hey I have 2 whites tree frogs one of which has lost skin around his nose. I think this is due to him banging his head on the glass while trying to catch food. I can't find anything online! Please help!

Has your frog gotten any better? I could not find much online either, do you have a vet near you that will look at amphibians?

Sorry nobody replied, i was away too.

you need to get flamazine ( the best) or any antibiotics cream without painkillers ( polisporin, neosporin or similar). Try to apply it to the damaged area 2-3 times a day, frog gotta be in a hospital set up. If not better within 5-7 days you will need to go for a vet to get systemic antibiotics. Dont wait these 5-7 days of you see it is getting worse.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

Thanks for the suggestions! I am having trouble finding where I can buy Flamazine, but I will keep looking! Also I don't think there are any vets in our area that treat amphibians but again, I will keep looking!

Flamazine will be given as a prescription. Until you can find a vet to prescribe some (I'm not sure about directories of herp vets for the UK) you can use the neosporin (WITHOUT pain reliever) that Lija suggested.

You really also need to figure out what has stressed your frog out to cause such a terrible nose rub. If you check out the "trouble in the enclosure" thread stickied in the tree frog section, and fill that out, along with posting pics of the frog and the enclosure, we may be able to help you figure it out.
