I'm planning on setting up a 40G breeder as a terrarium for Tiger Salamanders. My goal is to have a waterfall in the back left corner of the tank, which flows down a stream, and into a water area on the right side of the tank. The water would need to be pumped up a minimum of 6 inches (Probably closer to 8) and over at least 24 inches (Probably closer to 30).
My question is, does anyone have any suggestions as what product I should use to filter and pump the water? Is there something strong enough made for a terrarium, or should I consider an aquarium canister filter?

As such, I'd recommend pumps under 100 GPH with an adjustable flow. I had mine dialed in on the low side and it was more than enough.
( Does sound pretty, though. )
