I know it's frowned upon to mix dart frog morphs, such as tinc Azureus with tinc Cobalt, for fear of creating hybrids that may get mixed into the hobby labeled as pure morphs.
But what about Phyllobates terribilis? The three "morphs:" mint, yellow, and orange; can they be kept together?
On a side note, what's the best way to NOT end up with babies with dart frogs? Obviously have two mes or two females, but if you end up with a pair, what do you do?
The majority of people will say- species and morphs of one species should not be mixed and NOT an excepted practice.
What would become or the offspring?
either:
1) No one would want them? They would have to be culled
2)it would be irresponsible not do disclose the fact that offspring were 'mutts'
Since you are planning one species , have you considered separating them by a glass divider?
I have seen beautiful tanks like this where the design is horizontal and fluid from one side to the other.
The one I remember seeing had no background and was place in a room so that both sides and one end were visible for viewing 2 species of PDF w/ a center glass divider. But designed so the glass divider was barely noticed.
