I am in the process of obtaining a pacman frog and I was wondering how necessary UVB lighting is. I have seen people use plastic tubs with no lighting and only eco earth bedding with a water dish to house their pacman. People also say that you can use supplements to make up for the lack of UVB. If temp and humidity are spot on does it really matter? Also what age of pacman do you guys suggest. I know many people start off with babies but i personally feel that i would be better off with an adult. Just because i dont want to go through the hassle of getting them to eat if theyre stuborn and wouldnt an adult eat without much trouble and be npre durable? Im going to a reptile expo near my area in a couple months so im banking on there being a wide range of pacman frog ages. Anyway- any advice or other helpfult information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
