I don't think you can. Any chance of getting a picture of the leak or where ti is leaking into?

ok, here's i would seal old foam to new foam:

first, remove the old silicone. carve it if you have to. get a clean foam surface. apply a light layer of silicone. while the silicone is still wet, apply a coat of foam. hopefully, this will allow the silicone and the polyurethane in the foam to bond. then, allow it to cure for several days, then water test BEFORE adding any coverings to the foam. this allows you to see any leaks without the added distraction of cocofiber and other stuffs. if all goes well, then worry about covering the foam.
