    Default Eye Appealng Terrariums

As you all know, my American Toad lives in an exo terra 12x12x18. As cool as those terrariums are, they're so complicated todesign to look nice, especially one that the toad itself can enjoy. Any of you guys got ideas or pics you can share?

Hi Logan! As long as enclosure meets it's space, temperature, and humidity parameters; any toad or frog will be OK in it. Decor is for humans to enjoy.

Take out the included space robbing cricket hiding ExoTerra background and do with enclosure decor whatever makes you happy. No matter if you go with decorative film on the outside or an elaborate 3D background inside; just please yourself and enjoy the build !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

I agree with Carlos. I think the backgrounds that come with the exos are just terrible.
I'd rather stand a good looking pc of wood up against the glass. Once some plants begin to climb on it...it looks just fine....to me anyway!

It's all about the frogs !

I agree with Carlos and Lynn, The Exo Terra backgrounds are great at hiding crickets.

Anything that is pleasing to you will be perfect. There is no right or wrong way to setup a terrarium as long as the frogs needs are met. Look at pictures of tanks on the forum, read through the care sheets for your frog, and read through the build journals to get some ideas. It is a fun process and one we love for you to share with us so we can marvel at your creation and provide advice and tips where needed

I agree also and am not fond of the foam inserts. You can do much better .
