Water should be no deeper than their chin. Also some toadlets will start to eat even with a little nubbin, some wait until the tail is completely resorbed. Like Strider said, keep offering them FF and sit back and watch. Toadlets are such active little creatures and are usually out all the time. I've gone through the process many times with great success. I also feed newly hatched red runner roaches to toadlets also. Just make sure you are dusting the feeders alternating calcium and a multi vitamin. Also make sure your water is frog save, NO tap water.
