Hello all, first time frog owner here, I'm a little worried about this guy.
I recently received this frog from a student of mine, who was moving out and had to get rid of some animals. Now glancing at pictures of other White's Tree Frogs (what I believe to be this frog), the frog seems very underweight, bony even. He's got a spectacular appetite, and I've just been using the Dubia roaches that I use for feeding my Leopard Geko, gut loaded and dusted of course. The frog is active at night when he feels like it, and certainly doesn't strike me as lethargic, which I've read is a common symptom of underfeeding. So, is this an underweight frog that I should be worried about, are Dubia roaches appropriate diets for these frogs, and should I be concerned about him at this time?
Any help is greatly appreciated. He lives in a tall tank with a live plant and has a feeding dish that comes in and out, a Monsoon sprayer to keep the humidity right, and a heat lamp at night for when the temperatures get cold (otherwise the room stays at the right temp range for them). Please let me know if you need to know anything else to help him.
