    Default Need help with identification

Can anyone help identify this frog. It is native to SC. At first I thought tree frog but the behavior suggests otherwise. He is on a mixture of coconut fiber/forest mix with frog moss on top. He has buried deep in the soil and does not come out at all. He is very small, not much bigger than a quarter. Any help would be appreciated.

    Lynn,

After looking at pictures, I think you are absolutely right. Thanks! I didn't realize toads could be that small.
