Please Read its urgent having major problems with my ADF

Hi everyone ive just looked in my tank where i have 3 ADF and 5 Neons, one of the ADFs has a cotton substance on his front legs and his hands are missing! All the shops are shut now and i cant get any treatment... what should i do ? Is there any home remdey i can use??? please reply

Eeep, poor froggy!! Has he got like this just today or has it developed over a while? Have you tested your water recently?

May, I respectfully suggest you seek the advice of a herp vet asap.
I don't keep these frogs. However, I believe the 'fuzzy" growth could indicate an infection. The herp vet's help is especially important to determine if it is an infection vs an injury ....an infection may spread---and the tank mates need to be considered in the treatment. Keep and eye on its back legs and a close eye on the other 2 !

Is it possible the frog got trapped at/onto the intake valve of the pump for a period of time?
Or, it is possible it got too close to a heater?

I suppose it is can't hurt to start with a small water change and filter media rinse.
Not too big...as you don't want to drastically change the water parameters.
Plus , plan ahead....if the tank need to be treated another water change will likely be needed after treatment.

Do you have the necessary extra equipment to prepare a small 'hospital" type set-up for the sick/injured frog? Antibiotics will likely be needed and you don't want to treat the entire tank IF it is not necessary. A herp vet will be able to tell you if it's an infection rather than an injury. If determined to be an infection then the entire tank will need to be treated.
