I've just adopted an Indonesian toad. I was told by the pet store to feed it 3 crickets a day, they don't need a heat lamp or humid environment as long as the room is warm enough, to coat food with vitamins and minerals once a week and to use cypress mulch which I notice he/she gets stuck sometimes when eating.
Can someone please send me some info, thx

some more info.
I wouldnt use mulch, it has pretty sharp edges and will irritate toads skin, as well it is impaction risk if ingested. I would change to exo earth or plantation soil, use treated tap water. I very highly doubt 3 crickets a day is enough. I would experiment with what and how frequently it eats. Offer bunch if gutloaded crickets, see how many it would eat, offer nightcrawlers, wax worms in moderation, hornworms.
I very strongly suggest if you haven't done so already place a guy into quarantine tank and deworm him. He is wild caught and is carrying very heavy parasite load that will become a problem eventually in captivity.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
