American or Southern Toad

Hi, I'm looking for a southern or american toad doesn't really matter, it just got to be a toad. I've always loved toads but where I live (Long Island, RVC) there is a lake really close but there are only bullfrogs, turtles, otters, snakes but no toads for me to catch and keep.
