So I've been thinking about getting a pacman and have been reading around online about them. I guess its hard to tell the sex of a pacman until they are full grown but I want to get one as a baby and I'm worried about croaking if it turns out to be male.
The only thing I've really been able to find out about croaking is that the males will do it when they get sprayed with water cause that triggers mating preperations or whatever.
What I'm wondering is if that is the only time they will croak or do they do so all night long like the bullfrogs in my backyard cause I'm renting a house with 4 people and I would have to keep him in my bedroom and I would never sleep if there was a frog croaking all night, not to mention my roomates probably wouldn't like that either.
When I had my pacman, I never did find out whether it was male or female. It never croaked in the time that I had it, but it would frequently hiss and make strange noises when it felt threatened...which, because of three curious cats, it felt more often than not. The sounds usually didn't last long, as long as the offending threat stopped peering into the setup!
I've had my pacman frog for 8 months now, and I've never heard it croak, and by the shape of it's snout, it should be male.
