Hi everyone! I got a new toad, helios! Im not sure what species he is though. Im leaning more towards fowlers but i know almost nothing about toads. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Can you get a brighter clearer shot of the cranial crests? If it's touching the paratoid gland, it's fowlers, if not, american.

I know there can be hybrids between the two. Would it be safe to house the two together? I'm fairly sure both of mine are American, but one makes me wonder.

There is a water dish, but i just felt the soil; DRY AS A BONE! It dried out so fast

Put him in a container of frog safe water and make him soak for a few hours. This way if there's any shed left you can help him get it off.
