Anyone has any input on how to distinguish different Leptopelis species? i know in brown phase it is almost impossible to tell who is who, but you can tell in green phase, if i only knew how
i was looking at what was labeled glade tree frog (L.agrenteus), but to me it looks like vermiculatus or flavomaculatus, it is green with whitish, yellowish and black speckles all over, and yeah i know i should have taken picture
It seems care requirements are the same for all of them, is it right? Anyone knows how to sex them?
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
Ok found this
L. flavomaculatus adults in the gray-brown phase may easily be confused with adult L. vermiculatus, which have a nearly identical adult color phase. The most reliable means of differentiating between the two species is to compare the toe webbing which is more extensive in L. vermiculatus, with the inner web reaching the discs of the first three digits.
Now what do do with others any input is greatly appreciated!
