Hello: A Brief Introduction.

Hello, FF community. My name is Daniel and I am an Environmental Engineer student in the southern lands. I have been lurking for quite a while, or rather, I have been looking forward to starting my frog vivarium, but continually get lost in research to the point where I've put off the practical application of making it! I just really don't want to screw anything up. It has been months now, so I finally decided to register hoping that first hand accounts can help lead me to a better understanding of what is required in terms of obtaining, creating, and maintaining. Knowledge is power!

I currently own a 18x18x24 exo terra tank and am looking to create a self-sustaining system that can house both live plants and 2-5 frogs. Mantellas, dart, and tree frogs are what typically catch my eyes, but I'm open to anything from a beginner to intermediate range. I plan on fully creating the vivarium first, and while I have read countless articles on creating them, any information regarding craftsmanship would be fully appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum! I have collected plenty of aquariums to begin building, and can never seem to be able to get started - once I think I have a plan, I find more information that makes me question everything.
