Hi all,
I’m still slowly slowly building up a nice big viv for my amazon milk frogs to move into.
I want to cover most of the ground in plants and moss. They currently have the ‘zoomed frog moss’ in their tanks, it comes dry and revives itself when wet.
I want live moss in this new tank so it takes over a bit so I’d quite like a few different mosses for interest and greens!
Can you suggest mosses to use that take well and look good?
I also bought some brown dried sphagnum moss in a compressed bale and rehydrated that, do you think that will grow or is it truly dead and gone?
And finally, ebay sells a few mosses (such as sphagnum moss) ‘freshly picked’ or mosses that have been ‘harvested’ are these safe to use with the froggers or is there too much risk with introducing stuff?
The frogs still wont be in there for a while but i want to get it growing!
Thanks!
