Thanks for the quick responses. I am glad it is (possibly) a sign that they are happy.
I clean out their entire viv once every month, so they darn well better be!
Females generally don't croak at all. Its the males that do the talking usually. However, every frog is different so there may be exceptions. Odds are though that if your frog croaks often that its a male.
