Frog Friends

I currently have a White's Tree Frog and have had her for about 4 months now. I have been thinking about getting her a friend so she won't be so lonely. Do White's like company and is it a good idea to get another? Does the friend have to be a White's Tree Frog or can it be another species, for example, a Green Tree Frog?

I don't know too much about frogs so any input would be helpful. Thanks!

It should be another white's tree frog. Mixing any other species can result in cannibalism or stress related illnesses due to the "invading" presence of another species or toxicities. Remember to quarantine any new frogs also so that you do not introduce any types of parasites or infections to your current frog.

Can a blue whites tree frog live in the same habitat as a regular whites tree frog?

Yes, that shouldn't be a problem Just make sure they're the same size when they're placed together and you've done a proper quarantine on the new one.

I had bought one initially, and he didn't seem to cope well, having been amongst several, initially. Hunkered down and tucked himself away, hardly as active. As soon as I got another, they were great! They nestle against each other and follow one another. So, whether or not they "like" one another, I'm not sure, but it definitely seems to enrich their environment.
