Hi everyone, I've been lurking in the "Aquatic Clawed Frog" section for a while and thought I should show my face
I've been keeping dwarf frogs (Dotty, Hidey and Gremlin) for almost two years now. I also recently purchased a clawed frog (Pebbles) who is still very small, must be about 3 months old. Trying to read up on how best to care for him/her.
I have kept the dwarf frogs in a Baby Biorb (15 litres) with no troubles. I've had a 60 litre Biorb lying about for years, so I've decided to try it out as a home for a clawed frog. I've swapped the ceramic media for river stones in the 60 litre and small glass nuggets in the 15. I also do not change the filter cartridges at all, as it advises you to do regularly in the Biorb instructions (the whole guide book is a terrible waste of paper).
So far, so good. I was concerned about a Biorb setup as I can find literally no information at all on housing clawed frogs in one. Just awful Biorb reviews
I will post some pictures soon, I've enjoyed having a nosey around all you guys' tanks
