PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE OUT WATS HAPPENING
I don't know that this is what your little guy has, but I have read a little bit about it and I can give you some pointers to help and at the very least will not hurt your little guy. First, take him out of the enclosure and clean it thoroughly from top to bottom, plants and containers included. If you think the soil in the planter (if you have them) may be dirty or compromised then change the soil in the planter. From what I have read, red-leg can be caused by unsanitary conditions in the enclosure. After you have cleaned everything well and it has been rinsed in very hot water, dry it and replace it back in the enclosure. Second for the frog. I have found a few sites that suggest soaking the frog in Melafix but I have never had to deal with red-leg (fingers crossed that I don't). I also read that soaking in honey water or chamomile tea can be helpful for many conditions. However, I would recommend consulting a vet about your little guy. It is treatable but is also fatal if not treated in time or misdiagnosed. I hope your little guy does not have red-leg. Many times I have noticed that my tree frogs have a pinkish or red tint on their legs and/or belly and it always from them jumping from the branch to the glass and smacking the glass. It just causes irritation and goes away with in a few hours if not sooner. I hope you can get some advice from someone who has dealt with this issue before. But you are in the right place for sure! Good luck with him!
