Well depends alot - how old is he? How big is he? A finger rule is never feed him anything that's wider than the space between his eyes - he might not be able to swollow it correctly. Also, the crickets are hard to digest and shouldn't be too big for him.
- Small toadlets need food everyday and adult toads only need food around every 3rd day.
You can feed the toad all it will eat to satiation within 10 minutes or so. Few frogs overeat to point of becoming fat (White's and couple other Litoria do).
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
thx! I don't know how old he is, because I got him from the wild about 2 weeks ago. he's about 2 inches wide at the fastest point and about 2 inches long. too fat? how do I know if he's bloated? the crickets are pretty small, but the earthworms are at least 2 inches long. also, he had a little bit of blood on his nose. I looked for a cut or anything, but I don't see much. I wonder if it's from earthworms? help!! He's also shedding his skin and eating it. is that normal for a toad? I don't know much about them. thx so much for your info. I really appreciate it.
