Feeding my toad

What should I feed my baby toad? Until now I've fed him crickets and I've tried small Beetles but he doesn't seem to like them

Welcome to FF Juan ! What kind of toad? Have you tried earthworms like Night Crawlers? In US they are usually available in pet shops and bait & tackle stores .

What have you tried? Is he stressed (being wild and now contained)?

Also, I advise against 'bait shop' worms. They often contain chemicals and are not as healthy as 'feeder' worms.

I have tried feeding him but i've been needing to force feed him and i don't know what to do

I have some questions:

1. What type of toad is he?
2. Can you slightly mimic his natural habitat? (it helps reduce stress)
3. How much has he eaten?
4. Does he look thin?
5. Have you tried letting him not eat to the point of starvation, when this happens they usually begin eating. or did you immediatley try feeding him and he has only gone maybe a month without food?

Toads can go a long while without food. As long as he isnt sickly, he should be fine. They dont usually starve themselves to death and will actually eat whatever they can.
